Lagged Shoring

Lagged shoring consists of vertical, wide-flanged steel beams also known as soldier piles, which are placed into drilled holes. The soil conditions must have sufficient stability and cohesion to retain a vertical face until lagging is installed between the piles. Rakers, tiebacks or struts are then used to brace the lagged shoring.

Pro Caissons’ knowledge and experience can help the customer with the design and installation of lagged shoring.
